Thankful Thursday: Thank You Cards

This is something that has been on my mind a lot lately:
We know how important it is to be grateful for the many blessings in our lives, but how often do we express that gratitude? I think I do my best to express gratitude to my Heavenly Father in prayer, but I don't always give thanks to people around me. I know I can do a lot better this year, so I've decided to set a goal to start writing more Thank You Cards. It's such a simple thing, but I think giving someone a hand-written expression of thanks can really make a difference in both the lives of the giver and receiver.

Without getting too specific, I had been having a bad attitude about someone. This person wasn't keeping a promise, and I was frustrated; however, this person had also done some extremely nice things for our family. It hit me that I needed to let this person know of my gratitude, so I wrote a Thank You Card. It really helped my attitude soften toward this person, and I've tried to be more understanding of the situation.

Let's make this a year of giving thanks. If you feel gratitude, make sure you take the time to express it; I know this could make a huge difference in the lives of us all!

**Savings Tip: This doesn't have to be expensive. The dollar store always has packs of Thank You Cards for $1!
